    Historic Hammond-Harwood House Museum

    The Hammond-Harwood House is an outstanding example of Colonial American Architecture. Built in 1774 as an urban villa for Matthias Hammond, planter, legislator and patriot. Designed by one of America's first architect's William Buckland and said to be "one of the finest medium sized houses of the world". The house contains the finest collection of 18th century decorative and fine arts in Maryland.

    Clara Barton National Historic Site

    Clara Barton founded the American Red Cross. Her home in Glen Echo, MD, the warehouse and heaquarters for the American Red Cross, is preserved as the Clara Barton National Historic Site.

    Oxon Cove Park & Oxon Hill Farm

    Oxon Hill Farm presents a working farm that follows the model of early 20th century farms. Self-guided tours, seasonal displays and more can be found within the park. Group reservations can be booked for activities such as large tours, cow milking, wagon rides, and the chicken program.

    Thomas Stone National Historic Site
