United States Naval Academy

Encompassing more than 300 acres of land the United States Naval Academy was established in 1845 by George Bancroft. The Armel-Leftwich Visitor Center features a series of interactive exhibits and offers both public and group guided walking tours. Walking tours of the Academy feature such attractions as Bancroft Hall, Preble Hall, the chapel and the crypt of Paul Jones (the Revolutionary War hero).
